Welcome to Diane's School of Dance!
Our family of 900+ students benefit from the love and
attention by dedicated and caring teachers, the helpful guidance and
encouragement from 65 assistants and 18 faculty members, and the experience of 35 years of guiding
young women and men in dance.
Our studio has a suspended wood dance floor which makes
dancing easier on the body than any other floor surface. We emphasize correct fundamentals
in an atmosphere that promotes peer encouragement and support, a caring
atmosphere that is full of fun, and the excitement of learning new dance
steps.
We offer combinations of tap, ballet, jazz, pointe, and
hip hop disciplines depending on age-appropriate levels of desire. Our students range from
three to eighteen years old.
Our Christmas performances and the annual revue at the
Kansas City Music Hall give us a chance to show our friends and family the
accomplishments of our practice.
This year we are celebrating our 35th year of teaching dance in the
Northland!
